Oracle Database Backup and Recovery




SUMMARY:   The course is designed for a technical person who is new to database administration and will enable the delegate to create and maintain backups of Oracle databases and to identify and action appropriate recovery.
Oracle product versions covered include: Oracle 7, Oracle 8/8i, Oracle 9i, Oracle 10g (includes Flashback Facilities).

AUDIENCE:   The course is suitable for new database administrators, system administrators and support staff.

PREREQUISITES:   Delegates should have a good knowledge of their operating system, SQL*PLUS and PL/SQL.

DURATION:   4 days

OBJECTIVES:   At the end of the course the delegate should be able to :
