IBM WebSphere Business Modeler




SUMMARY:   This 5 day course teaches students effective Business Process Management techniques using IBM’s WebSphere Business Modeler. Heavy emphasis is placed on business process decomposition, modeling, continuous improvement, and assignment of metrics. Additionally, the course covers the use of simulation and distribution techniques, as well as other advanced features of the WebSphere Business Modeler.
This class teaches students to effectively use the WebSphere Business Modeler is by using contextual examples and hands-on exercises. This class is typically tailored to reflect the needs and expectations of the audience. For example, in-house processes are typically discovered in the early stages of the class and used throughout in various examples.

AUDIENCE:   This course is intended for organizations implementing service-oriented architecture and/or business process management. The course is typically focused on business analyst and IT governance roles.

PREREQUISITES:   General knowledge of service-oriented architecture and business process management. An introduction to service-oriented architecture course is useful.

DURATION:   5 days.

APPROACH:   Participative lecture, case study based group activities, hands-on lab exercises using IBM’s WebSphere Business Modeler.
