Solaris 10 System Administration - Part II
(For Sun SPARC Based Systems)




SUMMARY:   The course provides delegates with advanced administration techniques for the Solaris 10 Operating System on Sun SPARC based platforms.

AUDIENCE:   Experienced system administrators who are preparing to perform essential system management tasks, and/or are preparing for the Sun Certified Solaris System Administrator certification. This course covers the subject matter required for the Sun Certified System Administrator for the Solaris 10 OS - Part 2 examination.

PREREQUISITES:   Delegates should be familiar with interacting with the Solaris Operating Environment, and be able to understand and manage files and directories, control the user work environment, use remote commands, create and manage file systems, install system and other software, manage the boot process and perform system backups and restores.

DURATION:   5 Days.

APPROACH:   This course is instructor led, with strong emphasis on hands-on practical sessions to reinforce the concepts introduced in the classroom.
