WebSphere Business Modeler: Process Design, Simulation and Optimization




SUMMARY:   This 5-day course teaches student effective business process management techniques using IBM's WebSphere Business Modeler. Emphasis is placed on business process decomposition, modeling, assignment of metrics, and continuous improvement. Additionally, the course covers the use of simulation and distribution techniques, as well as other advanced features of WebSphere Business Modeler.

AUDIENCE:   This course is intended for organizations and individuals implementing service-oriented architecture and/or business process management. This course is typically focused on business analyst and IT governance roles.

PREREQUISITES:   General knowledge of business process modeling and service-oriented architecture are useful for this course.

DURATION:   5 days.

APPROACH:   Instructor-led participative lecture, with emphasis on hands-on labs utilizing IBM's WebSphere Business Modeler.
