SUMMARY:   Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0 is the latest application from Microsoft to provide Web services for the Internet and for Intranets. It is provided as part of the suite of services provided in Windows 2003 Server and has developed rapidly since version 1.0, with new features and scaling to new levels of performance. It provides scalability and many major components for security, manageability, reliability and performance.
