VBScript is a member of the Microsoft Visual Basic family. It shares the syntax and much of the capability of both Visual Basic and Visual Basic for Applications. It is used in a variety of different situations ranging from administrative scripts for Network Administrators to the addition of dynamic capability to Web Pages where it provides both server-side and client-side capability. VBScript can be used to access the capabilities and functionality of ActiveX, Active Server Pages and Databases. |
