Query Management Facility (QMF) Workshop




SUMMARY:   This course is a basic introduction to IBM's Query Management Facility (QMF), IBM's Relational Data Base Ad-hoc Query tool. It will present to the student a comprehensive overview of the QMF Product and how it relates to their current environment. Machine labs are used extensively to provide greater familiarity with QMF. The course utilizes lecture, paper, and hands-on workshops to meet its objectives.

AUDIENCE:   All personnel who will be working with QMF and wish a comprehensive overview of QMF and to develop skills in the use of QMF.

PREREQUISITES:   An understanding of TSO is helpful but not necessary. This course assumes no prior knowledge of the SQL language.

DURATION:   3 Days
