| SUMMARY: |
This course is a series of 1/2 day seminars on using the Internet as a Business Tool. A specific program is customized to the needs of the organization, and can include instruction on the use of a company intranet, if one exists. Modules are intended for 5-10 people, and at least one computer for every 3-4 people is necessary. Most modules are 1/2 day. Not all modules are necessary in all situations. |

Designed for anyone who needs to use the Internet as part of their job. Will be customized according to the specific job and/or industry of the participants. |
| APPROACH: |
This class is taught by lecture with hands-on workshops. |
| OBJECTIVES: |
After taking this course the student should be able to:
- Understand what the Internet is, as it relates to them and their business/industry
- Understand and use the e-mail and other means of Communication.
- Understand and use the Net to substitute for and compliment existing communication (with internal and/or external people).
- Understand and use basic and advanced research techniques, including industry specific research
- Understand and using the Internet to market products and services, and discuss how participants can use the Net to market their products and services (whether their "clients" are internal or external).
