| History: | Jason Marston is Managing Director of Marsoft Consultancy Services Limited and has 19 years of professional software development experience. During this time he has designed and implemented many successful line-of-business systems using many technologies. Jason's commercial Java experience dates back to 1996, when the JDK 1.0 was released, and his J2EE experience to 1999 when the beta of J2EE was released. One of Jason's main strengths is his strong background in line-of-business systems gained in more traditional languages such as C, Pascal, RPG/400 and COBOL. The experienced gained on line-of-business systems means that Jason always focuses on the business when designing a system. Jason has architected and implemented some of the largest WebSphere Portal and J2EE projects in what IBM calls the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region. From the beginning of his career Jason not only delivered highly successful projects, but also delivered the teams that would support the software via training and mentoring of the teams put in place to support the applications.
