| History: | With 15 Years Oracle experience from Oracle V5 to Oracle V10g and 23 years I.T. experience Stuart specializes in the provision of Oracle database and tool set consultancy and provides training courses either at training premises or on-site. He subcontracts to a number of training companies in London, Bath, Maidenhead, Birmingham and Leeds as well as provides courses directly. Stuart is a Certified Oracle Trainer and sub-contracts to a number of Oracle Partner Training Companies. He also provide programming and support services to a number of companies using Oracle 6i and 9i tool sets including GlaxoSmithKline.
Since starting S.M.W. Computer Services Ltd. in September 1996 Stuart has provided training services to well over 1000 companies either directly or as a sub-contractor, including Plymouth Naval Dockyards, E.D.S, B.B.C., R.A.F, London based Universities, Local Authorities, Manufacturers and Service providers. He also provide consultancy and programming services in SQL, PLSQL, Forms & Reports; database administration, backup/recovery strategy & implementation and performance tuning of applications and database. Stuart is Oracle Certified to teach v8i and 9i administration and backup and recovery as well as SQL and PL/SQL and also teaches Oracle Developer tool set.
Stuart has worked on a wide variety of operating systems: DOS, Windows NT, VMS, AIX, HPUX, Ultrix, DGUX, Solaris, predominately various flavours of UNIX and Windows NT. This has meant that I have had a wide experience of many machine types: PC’s, IBM, Sequent, Fujitsu, Sun, mainframes, Servers and workstations. |
